Microsoft Microsoft changes executive relocation policy In response to shareholders' complaints, Microsoft has changed its policy for relocating recently hired executives so the company doesn't get stuck paying for their homes during poor housing markets. Microsoft to indirectly fund L.A.'s switch to Google Apps Talk about irony. Of the $7.2 million the Los Angeles city government will be spending to switch its e-mail system to Google Apps, $1.5 million of it will come from Microsoft, according to City Council meeting minutes (PDF).   Wish you had current local news headlines on your web site?
