Boeing expects to hold onto missile defense contract
Boeing said Tuesday that it expects to stay on as the prime contractor for the Pentagon's ground-based Midcourse Defense missile program.

Gates: Tanker request is fair; we want competition

Lockheed Martin Tuesday announced it would bid to take over development and support of the Pentagon's Ground-Based Midcourse Defense missile system, for which Boeing is now the prime contractor.

Reports: Boeing targeting first 787 flight for Dec. 14
Boeing has moved up the target date for its first 787 Dreamliner flight eight days, to Dec. 14, and now plans to fly its second flight-test 787 before the end of the month, FlightBlogger reported Tuesday.
