Microsoft says black screens not caused by security updates
Contrary to reports earlier this week, Microsoft said Tuesday the "black screens of death" some people have attributed to recent Windows security patches are not caused by those updates.

Macs account for nearly half of US desktop computer revenue
The Tech Chronicles reports: Despite Apple's small computer market share in the U.S., (9.4 percent) its share of retail revenue was nearly 50 percent for desktop PCs and 33 percent for notebooks, according to Joe Wilcox of Betanews.
