Moore ruled out for Week 17

Update: According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Saints wideout Lance Moore will not play on Sunday due to an ankle injury. 

Fantasy Impact: Moore has missed a significant portion of the season with the injured ankle, but the team has not really missed his production as other guys have stepped up in his place. 

Thomas ruled out for Week 17

Update: According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Saints running back Pierre Thomas has been ruled out for Week 17 with a rib injury.

Fantasy Impact: The Saints don't need the game on Sunday, and will not take a risk with their key guys.  Thomas will rest and look to be back healthy for the start of the playoffs. Mike Bell will carry the load Sunday. 

 

Cushing returns to Texans practice

Update: Brian Cushing (foot, ribs) returned to Texans practice on Friday, and will most likely play on Sunday against the Patriots, according to Nick Scurfield of NFL.com.

Fantasy Impact: Cushing has had a great rookie campaign, and will be relied on heavily in the game Sunday as the Texans are the hunt for the final wildcard berth but need some major help to get in.

 

Panthers sign LB

Update: According to NFL.com, linebacker Mortty Ivy has signed with the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: Ivy was on the team's practice squad and when a roster spot came available on Friday, he was signed to fill the spot.

Bruce misses practice Fri.

Update: According to the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, 49ers wide receiver Isaac Bruce did not participate in practice on Friday, and doesn't seem likely to play on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: The 49ers playerswent to the coaching staff to ask for Bruce to play, in what was a great showing of respect for the veteran wideout, but the way things look right now, it appears that the veteran has already played his final NFL game. 

Bradshaw may sit for Giants

Update: Ahmad Bradshaw was again held out of Giants practice on Friday with an ankle injury, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.

Fantasy Impact: Brandon Jacobs has already been ruled out, and now it appears likely that Bradshaw will be limited at best. Gartrell Johnson should get an opportunity to showcase himself on Sunday against a tough Vikings defense.
