250GB Xbox add-on hard drive coming ... to Japan
Microsoft is releasing a 250 gigabyte add-on hard drive for the Xbox 360, for the first time independent of a product bundle. The catch? So far, it's only coming to Japan.

Microsoft completes Sentillion acquisition
Microsoft said Tuesday that it has completed its acquisition of Sentillion, a health-care software company based in Andover, Mass.

IE8, Chrome picking up steam
Internet Explorer 8 continues to pick up steam in the Web browser race, taking in January a dominant lead over the old IE versions (Microsoft's main competition) and Mozilla's Firefox 3.5, according to Net Applications data.

NYT: Google planning store for business apps
The New York Times reports: Google is developing an online store where it will sell business software from its partners in an effort to ramp up sales of Google Apps, its own suite of business applications, according to a person familiar with the project.
