Boeing/Aerospace Ryanair won't pick up volcano-related hotel and food bills Budget carrier Ryanair is refusing to pay the hotel and food bills of passengers stranded by the volcanic ash cloud, despite European Union consumer rules, the U.K. Guardian newspaper reported Wednesday. Airline revenues up in March; Volcano will hit April U.S. Airlines saw passenger revenues rise 15.4 percent in March from a year earlier, as the recovery continued to take hold, the Air Transport Association of America reported Wednesday.
