Report: More consideration for bikes, peds for 520 plan
An urban design for the Montlake interchange, a narrower viaduct over Portage Bay and better plans for pedestrian and bicycle paths were among the suggestions from a consultant hired by the Seattle City Council to evaluate design options for the future state Route 520 bridge's westside segment.

Poll: American voters want more public transportation
A recent poll shows 82 percent of voters think the U.S. would benefit from improved public transportation, including rail and transit, according to Transportation for America.
