Freshman Callier making the most out of first impression
True freshman Jesse Callier was not heavily recruited out of high school and entered training camp as perhaps the fourth running back for the Huskies. But after an injury to Deontae Cooper and and impressive fall camp, Callier is opening some eyes and solidifying his spot on the offensive unit.

Mahan injury a blow to already shaky special teams
It does not seem like that big of a deal. A punter goes down with an injury. Oh well, plug the next guy in. Punters may be the most replaceable position on a football team. Think about it. Can you name 10 punters in the NFL right now? Seven? Five?

UW punter Mahan out for season with ACL injury
University of Washington punter Will Mahan has torn his ACL and MCL on his non-kicking leg and will have season-ending surgery within the next two weeks.
