NBA Payton working to get NBA in Seattle, plans charity game Gary Payton said Tuesday on Dave Mahler's show on KJR that he and former teammate Shawn Kemp are planning to hold youth camps in Seattle and hope to announce a charity game to be played in July. Hornets fans reach attendance goals to preserve lease Supporters of the Hornets reached attendance goals that prevent the team from breaking its lease with the New Orleans Arena.
