Business/Tech Google to Bing: Stop copying our search data Google is waggling a finger at Microsoft's Bing, saying the new search engine on the block is copying its user's search patterns. Google would beat Bing at Jeopardy - just barely If it were Google and Bing competing on "Jeopardy" next month instead of IBM's Watson, Google likely would beat Bing. But just barely. eBay steals Bing leader away from Microsoft (ATD) eBay has hired Scott Prevost, a principal development manager for Bing, away from Microsoft to bolster its search and "machine learning" initiatives, All Things Digital reported today. Prevost will start immediately as eBay's vice president of product management on search, an eBay spokesperson confirmed for seattlepi.com. eBay also hired a search expert away from Facebook as part of its search push. Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Could an 'Internet drivers license' do away with passwords?
