Larry Scott urged reprimand of Scott Woodward (Seattle Times)
Very interesting story in today's Seattle Times by Bob Condotta, who unearthed an e-mail sent by Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott to University of Washington interim president Phyllis Wise urging Wise to reprimand UW athletic director Scott Woodward in the wake of derogatory comments he made about the University of Oregon's academic standing.

Pac-10 restructuring football officiating program
The Pac-10 (or Pac-12, as it will be) announced Friday that it will restructure its football officiating program with the help of Mike Pereira, the NFL's former Vice President of Officiating.

McShay's latest mock draft has Seahawks taking Locker
Todd McShay of ESPN has released his latest NFL mock draft, and it predicts that the Seahawks will select Washington Huskies quarterback Jake Locker with the 25th overall pick.

If NFL locks out, Angels expect long look at Locker (LA Times)
Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports that The Los Angeles Angels are closely monitoring the talks to determine if they will get an extended look at the Washington Huskies quarterback.
